The Auburn Ascent Climbing Competition uses the Redpoint Climbing Format. Each route and problem is assigned a point value. The harder the route or problem, the more points received. Points are awarded when the climber completes the route or problem without failing. Climbers may try as many routes or problems as they wish., or as the heat time allows. However, each route or problem can only be scored once. The climber’s final score will be a total of the climber’s points for their best three Top Rope routes and best 3 boulder problems.
